Butanox® M-60 is a moderately reactive general purpose MEKP with low water content and 10% higher reactive oxygen species than Butanox® M-50.

Butanox® M-60 is a general purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of cobalt accelerators at room and elevated temperatures. Butanox® M-60 is a version of Butanox® M-50 in a high 10% concentration. The Butanox® M-60/cobalt accelerator curing system is particularly suitable for curing gelcoat resins, laminating resins, varnishes and castings; furthermore, in contrast to the curing system benzoyl peroxide/amine accelerator, it allows for the manufacture of light-resistant parts.
