Butanox® D-50 is a general-purpose MEKP. It is a versatile catalyst used for curing gel coats and accelerating the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature.
Applications
Butanox® D-50 is an ideal, versatile catalyst for the room-temperature curing of gel coats and the promotion of unsaturated polyester resins. Butanox® D-50 has a low hydrogen peroxide content, which reduces gel coat porosity and improves the curing of vinyl ester resins. Butanox® D-50 also has a high MEKP monomer content, which can shorten the curing time of certain resin systems.
