Butanox® L-50 is an ideal catalyst for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature.
Applications
Butanox® L-50 is a versatile methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) used for the room-temperature and high-temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a metal (cobalt) accelerator. Butanox® L-50 has a low hydrogen peroxide content, which reduces gel coat porosity and improves the curing of vinyl ester resins.
