Butanox® M-60 VRN is a general-purpose MEKP with moderate reactivity and low moisture content. It has 10% higher active oxygen content than Butanox® M-50 and includes a disappearing red indicator system.
Applications
Butanox® M-60 VRN is a general-purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) used to cure unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature and elevated temperatures in the presence of cobalt accelerators. Butanox® M-60 VRD is a version of Butanox® M-50 VRN with a 10% higher concentration. Butanox® M-60 VRN offers all the benefits of standard MEKP, namely Butanox® M-60. Butanox® M-60 VRN includes a red indicator system that disappears during the curing process. The red color appears during the mixing step when you need it, but disappears during curing.
