- Styrene Polymerization: Suitable for the polymerization of styrene and styrene copolymers at temperatures ranging from 100 to 130°C.In bulk polymerization, TBEC helps increase the reaction rate. In aqueous suspension polymerization processes, the use of TBEC can reduce the residual amount of styrene monomer in the final stage of the reaction.
- Polymerization of Acrylates and Methacrylates: Suitable for the polymerization of acrylates or methacrylates at temperatures ranging from 100 to 170°C.
- Curing of thermosetting resins: Suitable for the curing of aliphatic unsaturated polyesters at high temperatures. TBEC is the preferred curing agent for the hot compression molding process of UP resins (SMC, BMC, ZMC, etc.), with a temperature range of 120–170°C. The resulting products are heat-resistant, safe, and environmentally friendly.
