Safety Precautions.

  1. Keep away from fire, open flames and heat sources.
  2. Avoid exposure to reducing agents (e.g., amines), acids, alkalis, and heavy metal compounds (e.g., accelerators, metal soaps, etc.).
  3. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of this product for use.

Uses.

  1. Polymerization of Styrene: Suitable for the polymerization of styrene and copolymers of styrene in the polymerization reaction temperature range of 100-130°C. The TBEC is suitable for the polymerization of styrene and copolymers of styrene in the polymerization reaction. In the native polymerization, TBEC is beneficial to increase the reaction rate. In the aqueous phase suspension polymerization process, the use of TBEC can reduce the residual amount of styrene monomer in the final stage of the reaction.
  2. Polymerization of acrylates and methacrylates: For the polymerization of acrylates or methacrylates in the temperature range of 100-170°C. The polymerization of acrylates and methacrylates can be carried out at temperatures between 100 and 170°C.
  3. Curing of thermosetting resins: For curing of aliphatic unsaturated polyesters at high temperatures.TBEC is the preferred curing agent for UP resin thermoforming processes (SMC, BMC, ZMC, etc.), with a temperature range of 120-170°C. The products are heat-resistant, safe and environmentally friendly.

Storage conditions.

  • Keep the package closed and well ventilated.
  • Maximum storage temperature 25°C
  • Avoid contact with reducing agents such as amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (accelerators and metal soaps)
  • Dispensing and accessing in the warehouse is strictly prohibited.

Storage Stability.

  • Stored in accordance with the conditions prompted by the manufacturer, the product can be guaranteed to meet factory technical standards within three months.

Fire Fighting.

  • Small fires need to be extinguished with a dry powder or carbon dioxide extinguisher and sprayed with plenty of water to prevent re-burning.
  • Large fires require the use of large amounts of water jets from a safe distance away.
