AKPEROX ER34 is used to cure unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and elevated temperatures in the presence of cobalt accelerators. (e.g. AKCOBALT 1% - 6%) The AKPEROX ER34 + cobalt accelerator combination provides faster curing than AKPEROX A50. The setting time of AKPEROX ER34 is usually similar to that of AKPEROX A50. Especially suitable for pipe production and continuous manufacturing applications such as continuous lamination, RTM, centrifugal casting, filament winding, etc.
