Trigonox® 524 is a fast peroxide mixture for efficient curing of unsaturated polyester resins with cobalt accelerators at elevated temperatures.

Trigonox® 524 is a peroxide formulation based on acetylacetone peroxide and tert.Butylperoxybenzoate. Trigonox® 524 has been developed for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient and elevated temperatures in combination with cobalt accelerators (e.g. accelerator NL-49PN = 1% cobalt). Areas of application for the curing system Trigonox® 524 with cobalt accelerators can be e.g. continuous lamination, resin transfer molding and fiber winding.
