Trigonox® 524 is a fast-curing peroxide blend used to effectively cure unsaturated polyester resins with cobalt accelerators at high temperatures.
Applications
Trigonox® 524 is a peroxide formulation based on acetoneacetyl peroxide and tert-butyl benzoate peroxide. Trigonox® 524 has been developed for use with cobalt accelerators (e.g., Accelerator NL-49PN = 1% cobalt) to cure unsaturated polyester resins at ambient and elevated temperatures. Applications for the Trigonox® 524 curing system combined with a cobalt accelerator include, for example, continuous lamination, resin transfer molding, and fiber winding.
