Perkadox® GB-50L is a free-flowing 50% peroxide formulation on a phthalate-free carrier, designed for curing unsaturated polyester resins and (meth)acrylic resins at ambient and elevated temperatures. It offers excellent solubility in standard thermosetting curing applications.
Applications
Perkadox® GB-50L is a free-flowing, fine-grained powder containing 50% dibenzoyl peroxide and a maximum of 0.5% water. Perkadox® GB-50L is used to cure unsaturated polyester and (methyl)acrylic resins at room temperature and high temperatures. At temperatures up to 80°C, Perkadox® GB-50L should be used in combination with an aromatic tertiary amine accelerator. No accelerator is required at temperatures above 80°C. Perkadox® GB-50L dissolves clearly in resin systems, making it ideal for the production of cured parts using acrylic resins where high transparency is required.
