The application of Perkadox® 33 SP is the bleaching of flour, oil, whey and cheese products.

Applications for Perkadox® 33 SP are bleaching of flour, oil, whey and cheese products. The free-flowing nature of the product allows for accurate dosing and thorough distribution in the product with proper mixing. This produces a higher and more uniform bleaching efficiency through the oxidation of colored substances. To maximize the desired effect in flour, one part of BPO powder (pure) needs to be mixed with 30,000 parts of flour. This is equivalent to one part Perkadox® 33 SP (which is the active BPO of 33%) to 10,000 parts flour. Thorough mixing is essential to maximize results after two days. Use in the United States is regulated by the FDA under CFR - Code of Federal Regulations 21 and should be consulted to ensure compliance.
