Processing Guidelines

  • Before use, the resin must be stored for a period of time under stable temperature and humidity conditions. When using the MEKP/Co curing system, the operating temperature should generally be above 15°C;
  • Atlac® 580 AC 250C resin contains an accelerator; when using it, add the curing agent MEKP, ensuring the curing agent is within its shelf life.
  • The workshop temperature should be maintained between 18°C and 32°C, and the humidity should be maintained between 40% and 90%. Consistent workshop conditions ensure consistent gel times and help manufacturers produce high-quality products.
  • At lower temperatures, dimethylaniline (DMA) can be used to adjust the gel time.
  • To achieve optimal physical and chemical properties, the product should undergo a post-curing treatment at a high temperature (e.g., 80°C) for several hours before use.
