Half-life data: The reactivity of organic peroxides is usually expressed in terms of half-lives (t1/2) at different temperatures.

  • 1 hour at 64°C
  • 10 hours at 46°C

Thermal Stability: Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances and may self-decompose at an accelerated rate. Their self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) is 15°C.

Storage: The recommended storage temperature range is -30°C to -10°C to prevent crystallization, and under these conditions Trigonox 23 will remain within Nouryon's specifications for at least 3 months after delivery.

Packaging and transportation: Standard packaging is a 30 liter HDPE can (Nourytainer®), which meets international regulations. Availability of other packaging quantities can be obtained by contacting a Nouryon representative.

Security and Handling: Keep containers tightly closed and store and handle Trigonox 23 in a dry well-ventilated area away from heat or ignition sources and direct sunlight. Avoid contact with reducing agents (e.g. amines), acids, bases and heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerants, desiccants and metal soaps). Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for more information on the safe storage, use and handling of Trigonox 23.
