Trigonox® 23-W50 is a polymerization initiator used in the polymerization of vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, and ethylene.
Applications
Polymerization of vinyl chloride: The reactivity of Trigonox® 23-W50 falls between that of peroxydicarbonate and tert-butyl neopentanoate peroxide (Trigonox® 25). Trigonox® 23-W50 can be used as an initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride at temperatures ranging from 50 to 65°C. The resulting polymer exhibits good thermal stability.
