Trigonox® 101-10PP is a peroxide formulation used in the production of controlled-rheology polypropylene (CR-PP).
Applications
Polymerization of Controlled-Rheology Polypropylene: Trigonox® 101-10PP is a highly efficient peroxide formulation used to produce controlled-rheology polypropylene (CR-PP) during extrusion at temperatures ranging from 200 to 250°C. This bead form serves as a masterbatch for liquid Trigonox® 101-10PP, allowing for more precise addition of the peroxide to the polymer. The more uniform distribution of the peroxide throughout the polymer is also advantageous. Using the bead form rather than the liquid form allows for better control of the viscosity-reduction cracking process.
