Safety Precautions:
1. Keep away from sources of ignition, open flames, and heat sources.
2. Avoid contact with reducing agents (such as amines), acids, alkalis, and heavy metal compounds (such as accelerators, metal soaps, etc.).
3. Please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product.
Applications:
1. Styrene polymerization:
TBPMH can be used in the polymerization of styrene and styrene copolymers at temperatures ranging from 90 to 140°C.
2. Polymerization of Acrylates and Methacrylates:
TBPMH can be used in the polymerization of acrylates or methacrylates at temperatures ranging from 100 to 175°C.
3. Curing of Thermosetting Resins:
TBPMH can be used for the curing of unsaturated polyesters at high temperatures.
TBPMH is the preferred curing agent for the hot compression molding of UP resins (SMC, BMC, ZMC, etc.), with a temperature range of 120–170°C. It produces products with excellent durability and is safe and environmentally friendly.
4. Ethylene Polymerization Initiator:
TBPMH serves as a polymerization initiator for LDPE, with an initiation temperature range of 210–270°C.
Storage Conditions:
Keep the packaging tightly sealed and store in a well-ventilated area at a maximum temperature of 25°C. Avoid contact with reducing agents such as amines, acids, alkalis, and heavy metal compounds (accelerators and metal soaps). Repackaging and handling within the warehouse are strictly prohibited.
Storage Stability:
When stored under the conditions specified by the manufacturer, the product is guaranteed to meet factory technical standards for three months.
Fire Extinguishing:
For small fires, use dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, while simultaneously spraying with copious amounts of water to prevent reignition. For large fires, spray with copious amounts of water from a safe distance.
