Applications:

  • Perkadox® OPC-50S-PS is primarily used for the cross-linking of silicone rubber.
  • Silicone rubber containing Perkadox® OPC-50S-PS can be cross-linked under conditions without external pressure, such as hot air and/or infrared curing.
  • It can be easily blended with silicone rubber using a twin-roll mixer.
  • The recommended addition level is 1.1%–2.3% of the silicone rubber to achieve the desired degree of crosslinking.

Thermal Stability:

  • Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances that undergo self-accelerating decomposition.
  • The self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) is 60°C.
  • The maximum storage temperature is 30°C.
