Trigonox® 36-W50 is an initiator for the (co)polymerization of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride.
Applications
Trigonox® 36-W50 can be used as an initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride within a temperature range of 50°C to 70°C. The reasons for using a water-based peroxide emulsion instead of a solvent-based peroxide are as follows: improved safety, ease of use in “closed-reactor technology” (pumpable), and ease of dilution with water.
