Trigonox® 36-W50 can be used as initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride in the temperature range from 50°C to 70°C. The reasons for using water-based peroxide emultion instead of solvent-based peroxides are as follows: increased safety, ease of use in "closed reactor technology" (pumpable), easy dilution with water.
