Promotor C when used in combination with e.g. Butanox M-50/Accelerator NL - 49PN will shorten the setting time and increase the curing speed, thus shortening the demolding time. In this regard, Promotor C can be used as a substitute for aromatic amines, such as Accelerator NL-63-10P. Promotor C does not yellow the end product, as observed with amine accelerators. AKPEROX HC9 with cobalt accelerator (AKCOBALT 10%) is used for curing unsaturated polyester resins at 60˚C or higher. The main applications are artificial marble, polymer concrete, filament winding and air drying paints.
