Armoquell® FR930 is a non-aromatic, non-blooming brominated flame retardant suitable for PP, PE, and PS applications.
Applications
Armoquell® FR930 is a highly effective flame retardant developed specifically for polypropylene, but it is also suitable for polyethylene and polystyrene. Armoquell® FR930 exhibits excellent thermal stability (5% weight loss at 316°C), so it does not decompose during processing, thereby minimizing discoloration and corrosion of processing equipment. When incorporated into a well-stabilized formulation, this product exhibits good flame retardancy even after aging and has minimal impact on the polymer’s processing properties.
