Armoquell® FR930 is a non-aromatic, non-frosting brominated flame retardant for PP, PE and PS applications.

Armoquell® FR930 is a very effective flame retardant developed specifically for polypropylene but also suitable for polyethylene and polystyrene. Armoquell® FR930 has excellent thermal stability (5% weight loss at 316°C) so it will not decompose during processing, minimizing discoloration and corrosion of processing equipment. When added to a sufficiently stabilized formulation, the product shows good flame retardancy upon aging with minimal impact on the polymer's processability.
