Applications
Armostat® 300 is an internal antistatic additive suitable for use in various polymers, such as PE, LDPE, and PP. Armostat® 300 provides sustained antistatic performance and is particularly effective in film applications due to its relatively fast migration rate. Armostat® 300 is a paste at ambient temperature. When heated to 40–45°C, the product can be added directly to the polymer as a liquid using a single-screw or twin-screw extruder. Pigments or color masterbatches should be mixed with the antistatic agent prior to extrusion. Premixing ensures uniform distribution of Armostat® 300 in the resin, and Armostat® 300 can serve as a dispersing aid for pigment pastes.
