Release Agent NL-1 is a mixture of waxes that forms a paste when dissolved in a solvent.
Applications
Used as an external release agent for unsaturated polyester resins: This release agent is a specialized product for the UP industry, enabling cured UP parts to be removed from the mold. Release Agent NL-1 is a waxy paste that must be applied to the mold as a thin initial coat. The wax layer should be thoroughly polished after application. There is no need to replace the NL-1 layer after each demolding. The number of demoldings the same wax layer can withstand before it must be renewed depends on the mold material, demolding time, and the method used to clean the mold. If the mold is cleaned with water containing a detergent, the wax layer must be renewed after each cleaning.
