Promotor D is a promoter for cobalt accelerated curing systems using ketone peroxides.
appliance
Accelerator D is an accelerator used to improve the reactivity of ketone peroxide/cobalt accelerator based curing systems in a variety of unsaturated polyester resins. Accelerator D is effective in standard phthalic and isophthalic acid based polyester resins, bisphenol A/fumarate resins and vinyl ester resins. In vinyl resins, Accelerator D is also used to improve the reactivity of the curing systems Trigonox 239/Cobalt Accelerator and Butanox LPT/Cobalt Accelerator. Accelerator D can be used in these resins as a substitute for the accelerator N,N-dimethylaniline. Accelerator D is a low toxicity compound compared to N,N-dimethylaniline. It does not cause yellow to brown discoloration of the cured UP resin portion, which is usually observed when using aromatic amines as accelerators.
