Luperox® ANS55 water-containing benzoyl peroxide paste is a blend of benzoyl peroxide and n-butyl phthalate with proprietary fillers. Arkema has adopted this technology designed to provide high performance curing in adhesive and coating applications where water content is not a major concern.
Luperox® AFR40 Pourable Benzoyl Peroxide Paste is designed for ease of use in pumping and spraying applications where the short half-life provided by benzoyl peroxide is required. These include curing acrylic or polyester resins using RTM or infusion techniques.

The Drug Master File (DMF) is continuously maintained by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the product meets USP and PhEur monograph specifications. Luperox® A75FP pharmaceutical benzoyl peroxide is a fine, free-flowing, water-wetting powder with a very tightly controlled particle size dispersion.
Luperox® A75 benzoyl peroxide is a 75% active grade BPO with residual water added for added safety to form a water-wet powder. Traditional applications such as general purpose, high impact or expandable polystyrene rely on benzoyl peroxide for the propriety polymerization. Room temperature curing operations, such as thermoset or acrylic composites, can be achieved using benzoyl peroxide as well as heavy metal or amine accelerators.
Luperox® TBH70X polymer initiator is a water-soluble high temperature initiator for the synthesis of aqueous coating resins. Luperox® TBH70X has good high temperature stability during polymerization and is ideal for high boiling monomers.
Luperox® P is a versatile initiator for the polymerization of ethylene, styrene and acrylic monomers.
When used to crosslink ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) polymers, Luperox® TBEC polymer initiator offers good thermal stability, crosslinking efficiency and short cure times. Luperox® TBEC can also be used for food contact styrene polymerization because it produces non-aromatic fragments upon decomposition.
Luperox® JWEB50 polymer initiator is a multifunctional initiator designed to provide higher molecular weight polystyrene resins or to increase overall polymer yield over a given time period. The multifunctional structure of Luperox® JWEB50 promotes long chain branching, which is difficult to achieve with traditional bifunctional initiators.
Luperox® DTA polymer initiators are used for the high temperature polymerization of solvent-borne acrylic resins for coatings, primarily in the automotive or industrial markets. The tertiary amyl peroxide produces acrylic resins with good polydispersity and low solution viscosity because the free radicals produced are more selective. This reduces hydrogen seizure (cross-linking) of the polymeric substances.
