Accelerator™ NL-65-100 is an amine accelerator used for curing unsaturated polyester resins.
Applications
The curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature generally cannot be achieved using organic peroxides alone. The formation of free radicals necessary to initiate the polymerization reaction occurs at ambient temperature, and the most commonly used organic peroxides are too slow. To accelerate free radical formation in a controlled manner, it is therefore necessary to combine organic peroxides with so-called accelerators.
