This product can be formulated into a 50% solution using isododecane or dibutyl phthalate, or into a 25% solution using ethylbenzene and mineral oil (formulation can be customized according to customer requirements).
Applications:
1. This product is used for the bulk polymerization of styrene at temperatures of 90–120°C. It serves as a polymerization initiator for styrene copolymers, acrylonitrile, acrylates, and methacrylates.
2. It is a highly efficient curing agent for unsaturated polyesters and a curing agent for UP resins. It is used as a curing agent in pultrusion and hot-press molding (SMC, DMC, BMC) processes, exhibiting exceptionally superior catalytic performance in SMC and BMC
processes.
Packaging and Transportation

2. The transportation of initiator TACH-B50 complies with the following regulations:
IMO (Marine Transport) 5.2, UN No. 3103, Type C liquid organic peroxide, Class 2 dangerous goods packaging.
Product Shelf Life:
Product quality is guaranteed for six months provided it is stored strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Storage
1. The product must be stored strictly at the temperature specified by the manufacturer; storage at temperatures exceeding the critical threshold may result in fire.
2. Open flames are strictly prohibited in the storage area. Keep away from heat sources, prevent static electricity, store away from light, and ensure the storage area is well-ventilated.
3. When storing large quantities of this product, a separate warehouse must be used. The product must not come into contact with reducing agents, rust, dust, heavy metal ions, acids, or alkalis.
4. Prevent impact and friction.
Fire Extinguishing:
1. This product may decompose violently when exposed to heat and ignite fiercely. Small fires involving small amounts of the product should be extinguished using foam or dry powder fire extinguishers.
2. In the event of a major fire, evacuate to a safe distance before attempting to extinguish it. Use a water hose to combat the fire and promptly notify the fire department for assistance.
