1. Data controller

This policy applies to www.yunno.net(the “Site”). The Site is operated by, and the controller responsible for the personal data described here is:

Yunno is an industrial chemical distributor and technical service provider specialising in organic peroxides, initiators, curing agents and crosslinking agents. The Site is a business-to-business product information and inquiry channel intended for procurement, R&D and process engineers at industrial companies. We do not sell to individual consumers, and the Site offers no user accounts and no online payment.

2. Information we collect

The Site requires no registration and contains no online forms. We obtain information about you only in the following circumstances.

2.1 Information you give us

When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, WeChat or telephone, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message. In a typical commercial inquiry this is: your name, company name, job title, email address, telephone or messaging handle, the product grades and quantities you need, your application or process, the destination country or port, and anything else you write in your message. We use this information solely to handle your inquiry and any subsequent business correspondence.

We do not ask for government identity numbers, payment card details, health information or biometric data, and we do not require personal information unrelated to an inquiry. Please do not send such material through these channels.

2.2 Technical logs collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and content delivery network automatically record technical log data: IP address, browser and device type (user agent), date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page, and the HTTP response status. This data is used to keep the Site available, diagnose faults, measure overall traffic volumes and prevent abuse.

2.3 Aggregated usage statistics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, referral sources and approximate geographic distribution. This data is reviewed in aggregate to understand which product and technical pages are most useful. The specific cookies are listed in section 4.

3. How we use it

We process the information described above only for the following purposes:

• to answer your inquiry and technical questions, and to provide quotations, technical data sheets (TDS), safety data sheets (SDS/MSDS) and certificates of analysis (COA);
• to arrange transport, export customs clearance and delivery of hazardous chemicals — this requires passing the consignee name, address and telephone number to carriers and customs brokers;
• to keep the Site secure and stable, and to identify abnormal traffic and abusive behaviour;
• to analyse how the Site is used and improve the structure and organisation of our product information;
• to meet record-keeping, archiving and product traceability obligations imposed by law.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not build advertising profiles from it. The Site carries no third-party display advertising and no ad networks.

Where we handle personal data in China, we do so in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Cybersecurity Law and the Data Security Law of the People’s Republic of China. Where you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with dedicated data protection legislation, we process your personal data only where we have a lawful basis — typically to respond to a request you have made, to perform a contract, or on the basis of your consent.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses a small number of cookies:

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-D1NRNG0KBN) to understand page views and traffic sources. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and the data may be transferred outside China. We have not enabled Google Analytics advertising features or personalisation, and we do not join this data with other sources to identify individuals.

How to disable or delete them: you can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on published by Google. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from reading any product or technical material on the Site, but your language preference may not persist and some statistics will no longer be collected.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not trade it for commercial benefit. We disclose information to third parties only where necessary:

• Logistics and customs: to arrange transport, customs clearance and delivery of hazardous chemicals, we provide carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers with the consignee name, delivery address, contact telephone number and data about the goods;
• Service providers: hosting, content delivery and analytics providers that operate or measure the Site. They may access data only to the extent needed to provide their service to us, and are bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
• Legal requirements: where required by law, by a valid request from a judicial or administrative authority, or where necessary to protect the safety and property of us, our customers or the public.

6. Retention

• Inquiry and business correspondence: retained for 3 years from the last contact, so that we can follow up on the relationship, handle after-sales technical questions and trace quality issues;
• Sales and product-flow records required by regulation: retained for the periods required under hazardous chemicals legislation;
• Server access logs: normally retained for no longer than 6 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised;
• Website statistics: retained according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics property.

Once these periods expire we delete the information or anonymise it so that it can no longer be linked to an individual. Where mandatory retention periods are set by law, those periods apply instead.

7. Your rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, you may ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and provide access to it;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• erase your personal data;
• withdraw a consent you previously gave (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal);
• object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing of your personal data;
• provide a copy of your personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

How to exercise them: email huyu@yunno.net describing your request, together with enough information for us to verify your identity (for example the email address and company name you used in your original inquiry). We will respond within a reasonable period after verification, normally within 30 days. We will not refuse to supply products or services because you exercised these rights.

We do not sell personal information. Where the law of your jurisdiction grants additional rights — for example under the General Data Protection Regulation in the EU or UK — we will respect them to the extent they apply. If you believe our processing does not comply with local law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; we would also appreciate the opportunity to address your concern directly first.

8. Data security

• The Site is served entirely over HTTPS (TLS), so data cannot be read or altered in transit;
• Inquiry and commercial information is accessible only to authorised staff who need it for their work, under account-level access controls;
• We follow the principle of data minimisation and collect only what the purposes above require;
• The Site offers no online payment, so no payment card data is stored;
• If a personal data breach occurs that may affect your rights, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by applicable law.

No method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information unrelated to an inquiry by email or messaging apps.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our business or in applicable law. The revised version will be published on this page and the effective date at the top will be updated. If a change materially expands how we use personal data, we will highlight it on the Site.

The current version is effective 22 October 2026.
