Luperox® 223S polymer initiator is pure EHP with added stabilizers to increase the self-accelerated decomposition temperature (SADT). Pure EHP is preferred for the emulsion polymerization of PVC resins with other initiators. Due to the high volatility of pure EHP and the preference for safer alternatives, Arkema has introduced the Luperox® 223EN60H emulsion initiator.
