Product Description::

• DHBP-80-WO is a colorless liquid containing 80% 2,5-Dimethyl 2,5-di(tert.butyl peroxy) hexane, soluble in white mineral oil.
• This is a bifunctional dialkyl peroxide used primarily as a crosslinking initiator (free radical source) for polymers and for rheology control in polypropylene.

appliance::

• CR-POLYPROPYLEN: Used as a free radical source for rheology control of polypropylene.
• Temperature range: 200-220°C
• Dosage level: 0.01-0.11 TP3T w/w based on polymer depending on product supplied.
• This degradation, e.g. in an extruder, reduces the molecular weight average and makes polypropylene easier to (re)process.
• The melt index of the controlled rheology materials increased with increasing levels of peroxide.
