AKPEROX MIKP-S is a methyl isobutyl ketone peroxide formulation for curing unsaturated polyester resins by themselves or in the presence of cobalt accelerators in the temperature range of 60-150. AKPEROX MIKP-S can be used in combination with cobalt accelerators for applications requiring long gel times or production times at ambient temperatures and fast curing at higher temperatures (e.g. 60-100°C). Areas of application can be: filament winding as well as the production of flat and corrugated sheets.

AKPEROX MIKP is used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins in the presence of cobalt accelerators in the temperature range of 60-150 °C. (EgAKCOBALT % 6) In combination with cobalt accelerators provides longer setting times at room temperature. In order to shorten the cure time, it should be used at 60 - 100 °C.
