Accelerator™ NL-64-100 is an amine accelerator for curing unsaturated polyester resins.

Curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature cannot usually be carried out by organic peroxides alone. The formation of free radicals necessary to initiate the polymerization reaction takes place at ambient temperature and the most commonly used organic peroxides are too slow. Therefore, in order to accelerate the formation of free radicals in a controlled manner, organic peroxides must be used in combination with so-called accelerators.
