Accelerator™ CF13 is a cobalt-free accelerator used for curing unsaturated polyester resins.
Applications
Accelerator™ CF13 can be used in combination with Butanox M-50 in ambient-temperature curing systems for: hand lay-up and spray-up applications, polymer concrete manufacturing, and other applications and market segments where cobalt is not required. Accelerator™ CF13 is well-suited for ambient-temperature curing systems. Curing at high temperatures (>80°C) is not recommended. Additionally, it should be noted that due to the presence of copper, the cured final product will have a greenish tint. Accelerator™ CF13 contains copper chloride, which makes the formulation slightly corrosive.
