Trigonox® 131 Solar is a highly efficient crosslinking peroxide primarily used for the crosslinking of encapsulation films (EVA/POE) in the production of photovoltaic devices.
Applications
Trigonox® 131 Solar can be used to cross-link polymers at moderate temperatures, with a typical cross-linking temperature of 130–140°C. Trigonox® 131 Solar is recommended for demanding applications, such as serving as a crosslinking agent for ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) or polyolefin elastomer (POE) films ultimately used in photovoltaic devices.The product’s high purity meets stringent end-use industrial requirements. Its curing reactivity allows for solar cell lamination temperatures of 130–170°C.
