A 75% solution of 1,1-tert-butylperoxy-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane (CAS#6731-36-8) diluted with a highly active aliphatic hydrocarbon or odorless mineral oil.

Applications:

  • Ethylene: Initiator for high pressure ethylene polymerization, used with other peroxides of different activity. Temperature range: 200-250°C.
  • Styrene: Initiator for the polymerization of styrene in bulk or suspension systems. Temperature range: 100-140°C. Recommended dosage: 0.02-0.08%.
  • Other monomers: Used as initiator for vinyl acetate and (meth)acrylate. Temperature range: 90-130°C. Recommended dosage: 0.04-0.8%.

Storage:

  • Observe the recommended storage temperature range to maintain the quality and utility of the product and for safety reasons.
  • Comply with local regulations, requirements and your insurance provider's safety recommendations.

Standard Packaging:

  • Product is packaged in 20 liter drums with a net weight of 30 lbs. Standard pallet quantity is 900 lbs (30 containers).

  • Avoid heating above maximum recommended storage temperatures and limits.
