Chemical/Physical Properties
Synolite™ 8388-V-1 is a DCPD-based, moderately reactive unsaturated polyester dissolved in styrene.
Main Applications
Synolite™ 8388-V-1 was developed specifically for filling applications such as polymer-modified concrete (thresholds, window sills, etc.). Thanks to its excellent full-cure properties, the amount of accelerator required can be reduced by up to 60%. Synolite™ 8388-V-1 offers outstanding outdoor performance.
Key Characteristics
Synolite™ 8388-V-1 can be used in both thick and thin products and exhibits low shrinkage. It is compatible with all common types of fillers. Thanks to its excellent wetting properties, resin consumption can typically be reduced by 5–12%.

Pre-use Guidelines
Before use, the resin should be conditioned at a specific temperature depending on the application (the minimum temperature for MEKP/Co curing is typically 15°C). Stir the product before mixing.
Synolite™ 8388-V-1 is not pre-accelerated; therefore, the processor must add a cobalt or amine accelerator for curing at room temperature.
