Typical Applications
Atlac® 382H is suitable for pipes, storage tanks, automotive components, marine applications, and other molded products requiring high mechanical properties. It is used in hand-layup, filament winding, RTM, pultrusion, and cast grating processes.Atlac® 382H is suitable for the manufacture of all types of FRP chemical processing facilities, including storage tanks, chemical vessels, and piping and chimneys, as well as for lining materials such as steel, aluminum, and concrete, and for producing corrosion-resistant flooring and glass flake coatings. Atlac® 382H is suitable for various room-temperature curing processes, such as hand lay-up, filament winding, spray-up, cold compression molding, and RTM.

Processing Guidelines
- Atlac® 382H is a bisphenol A fumaric acid resin that does not contain a catalyst; a cobalt-based catalyst must be added during use. Additionally, an appropriate amount of amine catalyst must be added. MEKP can be used as the curing agent at a concentration of 1.5–3.0%.Ensure that the curing agent is within its shelf life.
- For low-temperature curing (below 10°C) or low-exothermic curing processes (such as thick products), the recommended combination is MEKP (AAP) + cobalt liquid + DMA.
- Post-curing: Post-curing is required to achieve the full heat and chemical resistance of Atlac® 382H.The recommended conditions are post-curing at 90–100°C for 3–6 hours. Lower temperatures result in low efficiency, while excessively high temperatures can cause the product to become brittle. Before post-curing, the product must age at room temperature for at least 24 hours. It takes one year for the product to fully cure at room temperature.
