Synolite™ 0175-N-1 is an unsaturated polyester resin based on dicyclopentadiene designed for thermoforming and pultrusion applications. Typical applications for Synolite™ 0175-N-1 are in the fields of electrical engineering, construction and transportation.

Main characteristics

The key properties of Synolite™ 0175-N-1 resin are optimal wetting of glass fibers, medium reactivity, good mechanical properties and high HDT.
For best results with Synolite™ 0175-N-1, the optimum curing system and processing temperature must be selected for the application.

Before use, the resin should be conditioned at a well-defined, application-dependent temperature (typically 15°C minimum for MEKP/Co curing). Stir the product before mixing.
