United Initiators NOROX®SG-10 Methylacetone Peroxide 1338-23-4 (CAS 1338-23-4)

Product Description: NOROX® SG-10 is a methyl ketone peroxide designed to cure unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature in conjunction with a cobalt catalyst. It features high levels of active oxygen and hydrogen peroxide,thereby offering faster gel and cure times than NOROX® KP-9 and NOROX® KP-100. NOROX® SG-10 delivers consistent room-temperature performance in a variety of systems, including polyester resins and coatings.It is a high-purity, reliable product suitable for a wide range of applications, such as the production of push-button panels, continuous lamination, centrifugal casting, and polyester concrete. Due to its high hydrogen peroxide content, NOROX® SG-10 is not recommended for use in gel coats.It is absolutely essential to evaluate each methyl ketone peroxide in each polyester resin to achieve optimal results before proceeding to full-scale production.
