Description: This document describes the chemical Norox® MEKP-9H, a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide used as a general-purpose curing agent for room-temperature-curing polyester resins. It is also suitable for use in heated continuous mixing systems, such as those used in polymer concrete and artificial marble products. Technical Data:

Applications: Norox® MEKP-9H is an excellent liquid general-purpose curing agent for polyester resins at room temperature, providing medium to high exothermic characteristics during the curing process in this application. It is also well-suited as a curing agent for gelatin coatings. Consult your resin supplier for specific resin recommendations.Norox® MEKP-9H is highly refined and is essentially free of water, hydrogen peroxide, and methyl ethyl ketone. Compared to most polyester resins, Norox® MEKP-9H has a slightly longer gel time, but the total cure time is similar.
