United Initiators NOROX®MEKP-900 RED Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide 1338-23-4 (CAS 1338-23-4)

Description: Norox® MEKP-900 RED is a chemical containing high levels of hydrogen peroxide. It is suitable for most resin systems and provides faster gel times at low ambient temperatures. However, its use with gelatin coatings is not recommended without extensive testing. A red dye has been added to this chemical to aid in mixing. Technical Data:

It provides consistent room-temperature performance in most resin systems.However, the same MEKP initiator formulation may not yield optimal results in all resin systems; therefore, each MEKP must be evaluated in the specific resin intended for use before attempting large-scale production.
