- Avoid storing near flammable materials, heat sources, sparks, flames, and direct sunlight.
- If a container leaks, immediately remove it and isolate it in a safe area, then repackage or dispose of it properly.
- Never store it in a refrigerator used for food or beverages.
- Immediately clean up spills with an inert material, such as vermiculite or sand.
- For very small fires, use a fire extinguisher containing carbon dioxide, foam, or dry chemical.
- If a fire occurs near the storage area, use a water mist spray to cool the storage containers.
