- Recommended storage temperature should not exceed 80°F (27°C); to ensure maximum shelf life, storage should not be below 70°F (21°C).
- Store in the original container, away from flammable materials, heat sources, sparks, or flames; away from direct sunlight; and away from cobalt naphthenates, other initiators, accelerators, oxidizing agents, reducing agents, and strong acids or strong bases.
- Leaking containers should be immediately removed and isolated in a safe area. Repackage or dispose of immediately (see Spill Instructions).
- Never store it in a refrigerator containing food and/or beverages.
- Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes; seek medical attention.
- Skin: Wash with soap and water.
- Ingestion: Drink plenty of milk or water and call a doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. It is recommended to call your local poison control center to assist the doctor.
- Spilled material should be immediately absorbed using absorbent material (vermiculite or sand).
- After absorption, immediately moisten with water, place in a clean plastic bag, and then place the bag in a plastic bucket.
- Dispose of the spill immediately in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- NOROX® MEC-EX RED is available in standard packaging sizes of 4 x 8-pound and 44-pound (20-kilogram) polyethylene bottles.
