Application Areas

  • Polyester resin curing agent
  • Operating temperature range: 80-150°C
  • Recommended dosage: 1-3%
  • Main application: Hot compression molding of SMC or BMC at temperatures up to 120°C

Curing Properties

  • At 70-80°C, the cure rate is low, unless there is a reaction exotherm (e.g., in an insulated mold).
  • A really short curing time of 1-3 minutes can only be achieved above 120°C.
  • The optimum temperature range for hot press molding is 120-150°C.
