Product Overview: Luperox® Q2 is a colorless to yellow liquid primarily used for curing unsaturated resins. It is suitable for processes such as pultrusion, BMC, and SMC. The typical usage rate is 0.7–1.5% of the resin weight.
Specifications and Properties: Appearance: liquid; active oxygen content: 9.7%; density: 1075 kg/m³; flash point: 62.5°C; self-accelerating decomposition temperature: 60–65°C; maximum storage temperature: 27°C.The main decomposition products are ethane, methane, ethylene, and carbon oxides.
Curing Characteristics: The curing agent is used at 1% of the resin weight, with a curing temperature of 82°C. The curing time is 741 seconds, and the maximum exothermic temperature is 238.8°C.
