Description:
- White or slightly yellowish powder, the main component is technically pure propylbenzene peroxide.
- Used as an initiator (source of free radicals) for the polymerization of monomers such as styrene.
- Used as a synergist in flame retardants for expandable polystyrene (EPS).

- Peroxide content: about 99.5% w/w.

- Solubility: Soluble in acetone, aromatic solvents, alcohols and esters.

- Critical temperature (SADT): approx. 80°C.

- Recommended storage temperature: below 30°C.
- Storage stability after delivery: 12 months.
Applications:
- Polymerization: Used for polymerization initiation of monomers such as styrene, applicable in mass or solution. Temperature range: 130-170°C. Dosage: 0.01-0.11 TP3T w/w in the state of supply.
- Flame retardant synergists: Synergistic with halogenated flame retardants for the flame retardancy of expandable polystyrene (EPS), dosage: 0.1-0.5% w/w in the state of supply.
Standard Packaging: 4 x 5 kg polyethylene bags in cardboard boxes.
