Product Name: BENOX® L-40LV-EU Composition: Diphenyl peroxide (CAS #94-36-0) 40% white dispersion Appearance: White dispersion Description: BENOX® L-40LV-EU is a low-viscosity, sprayable diphenyl peroxide dispersion. Specifically designed for curing unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, it offers the following advantages:

Low water content
Faster gel-to-peak time compared to MEKP systems
Lower exothermic heat release compared to MEKP systems
Less prone to “caking” compared to equipment designed or modified for spraying biphenyl peroxide dispersions
Greater stability and less separation than typical BPO dispersions on the market
Less viscosity fluctuation

Applications: BENOX® L-40LV-EU is a low-viscosity dispersion that may separate slightly when left to stand. It mixes easily and should be stirred immediately before use. When using spray equipment, continuous stirring will maintain a uniform dispersion.BENOX® L-40LV-EU can be flushed from spray equipment using isopropyl alcohol, ethanol, or acetone, followed by a rinse with soap and water.BENOX® L-40LV-EU is ideal for curing acrylic resin-based road marking paints. To successfully spray BENOX® L-40LV-EU using equipment typically designed for MEKP systems, the catalyst supply system must be modified. Spray equipment suppliers can recommend appropriate modifications for their equipment.However, under normal spray equipment operating conditions, BENOX® L-40LV-EU should not separate or “curl up” in the catalyst supply system. Nevertheless, when the system is shut down for an extended period (e.g., overnight) without recirculating BENOX® L-40LV-EU, the catalyst section should be depressurized.
