AKPEROX LPT is a general purpose MEKP for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and elevated temperatures. LPT provides longer setting times than other ketone peroxides. It is particularly well suited for applications requiring longer set times, as well as for the production of large parts and coiled tubing. Recommended for use with vinyl ester resins. Suitable for gelcoat applications with low hydrogen peroxide and low water content to prevent bubbles and cracks in the surface quality. |
