CAS Number: 16111-62-9

Physical form: Emulsion

Trigonox® EHP-W50 (50% water emulsion) is a polymerization initiator for the (co)polymerization of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride.

appliance

Polymerization of Vinyl Chloride - Trigonox® EHP-W50 is used as an initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride in the temperature range of 40°C to 65°C. Trigonox® EHP-W50 can be used in combination with other peroxides such as tetramethylbutyl 1,1,3,3-neodecaneperoxide (Trigonox® 423), neodecaneperoxide (Trigonox® 99) or dilauroyl peroxide (Laurox) to improve reactor efficiency. (Trigonox® 423), isopropylphenyl peroxyneodecanoate (Trigonox® 99), or lauroyl peroxide (Laurox) in combination to improve reactor efficiency. Reasons for using water-based peroxide emulsions instead of solvent-based peroxides are as follows: Improved safety Easy to use in "closed reactor technology" (pumpable) Easy to dilute with water.
