Trigonox® 501-CS30 is an initiator for the production of controlled rheology polypropylene (CR-PP).

Trigonox® 501-CS30 is a highly efficient peroxide formulation for the production of controlled rheology polypropylene (CR-PP) in the extrusion process. Trigonox® 501-CS30 gives polypropylene producers great flexibility in controlling the melt flow index (MFI) of their polymers. Small changes in peroxide concentration or process temperature can produce significantly different MFI. An important advantage of Trigonox® 501-CS30 is that the final CR-PP contains low levels of volatiles derived from peroxide decomposition products. Trigonox® 501-CS30 does not form acetone and tert-butanol.
