Trigonox® 501-CS30 is an initiator for the production of controlled-rheology polypropylene (CR-PP).
Applications
Trigonox® 501-CS30 is a highly effective peroxide formulation used to produce controlled-rheology polypropylene (CR-PP) in extrusion processes. Trigonox® 501-CS30 provides polypropylene producers with great flexibility in controlling the melt flow index (MFI) of the polymer. Even slight variations in peroxide concentration or process temperature can result in significantly different MFIs. A key advantage of Trigonox® 501-CS30 is that the resulting CR-PP contains low levels of volatiles derived from peroxide decomposition products. Trigonox® 501-CS30 does not form acetone or tert-butanol.
