Applications: Trigonox 145-45B-PD is a bifunctional peroxide used for the crosslinking of natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as polyolefins. Safe processing temperature: 145°C (rheometer ts2 > 20 minutes). Typical crosslinking temperature: 185°C(rheometer t90 approximately 12 minutes). Thermal Stability : Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances and may undergo self-accelerated decomposition. The lowest temperature at which self-accelerated decomposition may occur in the original packaging is known as the self-accelerated decomposition temperature (SADT). The SADT is determined based on thermal accumulation storage tests.

SADT: 70°C (158°F)

Storage : Since organic peroxides are relatively unstable, quality loss may occur over time. To minimize quality loss, Nouryon recommends a maximum storage temperature (Ts Max.) of 30°C (86°F).

Note: Under these recommended storage conditions, Trigonox 145-45B-PD remains within Nouryon’s specifications for at least 6 months after delivery.

Packaging and Shipping In North America, Trigonox 145-45B-PD is packaged in non-returnable polyethylene-lined cartons with a net weight of 40 pounds per carton. In other regions, the standard packaging is a cardboard box containing 15 kilograms of the peroxide formulation per carton.
