Introduction
WP-B1268 is a low-temperature curing epoxy resin system developed by Wells New Materials (WAM). Formulated from a blend of epoxy resin and a specialized curing system, it offers excellent processability and high mechanical properties. It is primarily used in the fabrication of large-scale composite structural components for carbon fiber applications in the automotive, wind power, high-speed rail, and aerospace industries.

Prepreg Process
- Coating Conditions - Coating temperature: 55–65°C. When the coating volume is small, the temperature may be appropriately increased (to achieve a better coating surface).
- Impregnation Conditions – Impregnation temperature: 65–78°C. If impregnation is insufficient, the temperature should be appropriately increased (actual conditions should be selected based on production speed and product thickness). – Note: Resin tends to cure easily at temperatures above 80°C.
Reference Curing Conditions
Recommended Molding and Curing Conditions at Atmospheric Pressure
- 80°C for 3 hours;
- 90°C for 2 hours
- 100°C for 1 hour
