Trigonox® Super 828 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide that, in solvent mixtures, can be used as a solvent in a variety of applications.

Trigonox® Super 828 is a general-purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of cobalt accelerators at room and elevated temperatures. The curing system Trigonox® Super 828/Cobalt accelerator has been developed for general purpose GRP - and non-GRP applications such as curing of laminating resins and castings. Years of practical experience have proven that for marine applications a special MEKP with low water content and without polar compounds is required to prevent penetration and other problems. Butanox M-50 is the recommended MEKP for this application For room temperature applications, Trigonox® Super 828 must be used in conjunction with a cobalt accelerator such as Accelerator NL-49P.
